My son brought back some premium Oolong tea from China which remained unused for a couple of years until I came across the Mr. Coffee Hot Tea Maker and Kettle. It eliminated my fear of messing up the steeping process because one can choose the perfect water boiling temperature for it which is 1 of the 4 kinds of teas programmed. The size of the kettle is just perfect, not too small, not too large. Compared to the other products of its kind out there in the market, I think the Mr. Coffee Hot Tea Maker and Kettle is by far the best and superior at a reasonable price.

It really is easy to make tea this way, hot or iced. It's attractive enough to keep the steeped tea in in my refrigerator and to pour it from. I am able to keep it stored off the counter because of the seperate units. I would recommend it for any tea drinker and also for fast boiling of water for any purpose.

I found this hot tea maker to be as easy to use and clean as a coffee drip maker. I am a former pot-a-day coffee drinker, and this appliance has made transitioning to marathon tea drinking simple for me. An added bonus is that it offers various steeping temperatures for various types of teas.

i am able to make healthy teas combining fresh herbs, ginger, tumeric, cinnamon sticks along with a variety of dried tea leaves. i had a nesco tea maker which i enjoyed. i just did not like the idea of steeping my tea in a toxic plastic chamber. that is the main reason i purchased the mr. coffee tea maker, the tea steeps in glass. it is also a good looking appliance and easy to keep clean. well worth the extra money.
