Great iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the retractable cord, no more wrapping it around the iron, looks so much nicer. The steam feature worked great for me, I had hung new curtains thinking the few wrinkles would come our after hanging, they didn't but, using the steam feature, they looked great! The only issue on this iron, it's bigger then what I am use to, but with all the great features it won't be a problem

This iron is a dream to use. It glides easily and the steam spray button is in the perfect spot. My clothes are crisp and look better than ever. With the retractable cord it stores easier than any other iron.

The Sunbeanm Steam Master Iron looks very modern. It heats up fast and works well. There are many useful options like the 3 way auto off and the retractable cord. I like the blue color. It's fun. The only thing I don't like about is the size. It's just a bit big and bulky. *I received this product as a sample to review.*

Love that this iron is so light weight even when it is full of water. Also love the retractable cord. Works great as an iron, however I have tried to use it several times as an upright steamer and it hasn't worked for me. Also love the color. The Teal and Silver are beautiful!

I recently received a Sunbeam SteamMaster Iron to try, and I have to say - I'm impressed.
I immediately loved the look and feel of the iron when I removed it from the box. It wasn't too heavy, the handle felt comfortable in my hand, and the iron felt solid and sturdy.
Before attempting to use the SteamMaster iron, I read the instructions that were included in the box. I was pleased to see the iron's extra features. The iron has the normal steam and mist features, but the features also include Shot of Steam, vertical steam, auto shut off and a retractable cord.
The main feature that I was interested in using was the Shot of Steam. I tend to leave clothes in the dryer overnight, and they get wrinkled. Running the dryer for a few minutes in the morning does remove some of the wrinkles, but that's not acceptable for some of my garments. The Shot of Steam and mist features worked like a charm on these items!
This iron's ability to work as a vertical steamer is a bonus. I look forward to trying this feature when hanging my new drapes before the holidays.
I love the retractable cord! I hate trying to store an iron, simply because there is no easy way. The cord is always in the way - either wrapped around the iron unevenly making it impossible for the iron to sit level on any surface, or stored loosely next to the iron, taking up valuable shelf space or getting tangled with anything that's placed near it. The retractable cord solves this problem, and works very well!
The auto shut off feature is awesome! It can be activated three different ways. The iron stops heating - if the iron is left with the sole plate facing down (as it would be when you are ironing) with no movement for 30 seconds, if the iron is tipped over on its side with no movement for 30 seconds, and when the iron is in the upright resting position with no movement for 8 minutes. When auto shut off is activated, the power indicator light blinks and the iron omits a beeping sound.
The only concern I had with this iron was that the plastic water fill hole cover didn't feel very durable. It feels like it could easily be snapped off if opened at the wrong angle. This is the only reason I did not give the Sunbeam SteamMaster Iron a full 5-star rating. I feel like it compromises the perception of the overall quality of the iron. But other than this small concern, I would highly recommend this iron to my family and friends.

Excellent iron with great technology

I love the retractable cord, the non stick soleplate and the safe technology that will shut off the iron if not used within a certain time. I also like the fact that you can see the water level in the reservoir and you know immediately when it needs to be filled again without any guessing. I love the different options of the spray so one can use it for not only ironing but for steaming drapes etc. Very versatile. Self cleaning function is very nice because who has the time to clean the iron or remember to do so. The only thing I had a problem with was for the setting control. Hard to see the different settings plus a bit awkward for me to set. Perhaps with more use, I will become adjusted to the difference between my old iron and the new. A 3 year warranty is unbelievable but so nice. Makes you feel very secure in buying this iron although I received this as a free sample. It also is much lighter than my old iron
