Happy But Need Steam Explanation Please

I've looked at the manual online plus printed it out. I am not seeing an recommendations or explanations of the steam settings. What do each of the steam settings mean. I think you (Sunbeam) would do us all a favor by including a troubleshooting section as many of the problems people are experiencing could be easily solved and understood with this.

Broke within months

Bought this iron and within a few months it stopped heating up. The back red light turns on, and that's about it. This item is a piece of junk, not worth your time.

Regret My Purchase

I bought this item and was initially very pleased with it. Approximately one month later, the retractible cord would continually retract making it impossible to use. I have tried unsuccessfully to correct this problem. I've since had to purchase another iron since this one is useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this iron!!

I bought this iron a few years ago and it just died out, I then purchased a Shark and am so disappointed. The Sunbeam Steam Master is the best iron I've had so far, the steam volume is amazing!! It doesn't take much to get the wrinkles out and the retractable cord is a huge bonus!! I have not experienced the other problems that others commenting have had. I absolutely loved this iron and will be purchasing another very soon. It just made ironing much easier for me!!

I LIKE THE IRON.......BUT IT KEEPS SHUTTING OFF ABOUT ONCE A MINUTE....YOU THEN HAVE SHAKE IT BACK AND FORTH TO GET BACK ON.THIS A VERY DUMB FEATURE......I AM RETURING BACK TO STORE...THIS IS A BIG WAISTE OF TIME

I understand your concern, and we welcome your feedback. This iron does have a 3-Way Motion Smart® Auto-Off Technology feature. The iron will turn off automatically after 30 seconds if it is left in the horizontal position without moving it. We recommend setting the iron on it's heel rest if you're not going to be moving it for a minute or two.
