Very LOW Quality

I truly enjoy ironing and have clean pressed clothes when I go into the closet. It’s a weekly meditation for myself. Needed a temporary Iron as I sent my Rowena with my belongings because of my international move. Did not want to spend a lot so this iron fit the bill. When I first used it , there was a terrible chemical out gas smell that lasted the first couple months. Make sure that I opened the window. Emptied the water after each use. About six months to the day , went to iron, plugged it in , got one pair of pants ironed and Dead Fred. The light was on and no heat. Unsatisfactory Quality from China, So disappointed that companies do not check their quality and take production to a country that cuts corners anyway they can to make higher profits and a throw away item that will end up in the land fill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad design

I bought this iron about 2 months ago and I was disappointed in the placement of the heat dial. Now, if I had noticed this before purchase, I would have chosen another model, but I never thought they would put the dial directly behind the handle, obscuring it.Also the dial is hard to read anyway with grey on black characters.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Short Life Span

I bought this iron in March 2020 and it stopped working 10 months later. After using and running out of water for steam I refilled with water but the iron would heat up again. Tried different outlets and let it sit for a few hours but it will not work. I have only used for pressing shirts every few weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed with this iron

Purchased this iron n May 2, 2021, it leaks when you start to iron with the steam setting on. Why does the red light start blinking while you are ironing?

It's definitely not the experience that we want you to have. The light will begin to blink when the Motion Smart Auto Off system activates. If the unit is moved while the light is still blinking, it will stop blinking and resume normal function.

After only just over a year of use the temperature control dial is frozen and will not turn so iron will not heat up.

Heat control froze

The dial for temperature control froze. Tried to free it up with wd40 but did not work so iG on is fancy junk. Threw it out.

great iron, "retractable" is a joke

This iron works great - like many other irons, however, the "retractable" cord is a joke. It hasn't worked properly from day 1. It is clearly a design flaw with a spring that is too weak to do the job.
