This is a good iron if you are in need of a replacement iron or you need your first iron. At first it was a little confusing until I stopped and read the instruction booklet. The look of the product was different when first out of the box. It was different yet it felt nice to look at the different color scheme on it. The way it irons is perfect wether it's layed or standing on the hanger. The value for such a product is great and I would purchase this again.

Love the retractable cord!

The Sunbeam SteamMaster Iron is light weight, but heavy enough to press well. I especially like the 8 ft retractable cord! It makes storage much easier. I have used this iron for about two weeks, and the SteamMaster makes ironing easier. It even steams from an upright position, so I can easily steam the wrinkles out of my curtains, without removing them from the rods. The temperature dial is simple to adjust with my thumb while ironing. And adding water to the steam chamber is accomplished without spilling. (I had to use a funnel with my old iron to avoid soaking my ironing board.) In an upright position, the power shuts off after 8 minutes with a gentle warning beep. This is a necessary feature in a busy household. After using this iron for about 2 weeks, and testing it on a variety of fabrics, I am very pleased with the performance of this iron. The only I have found is with the steam lever; it sometimes sticks a bit when adjusting to a higher steam level (right), but easily moves to a lower steam level. This is a minor issue though, as I don't often change the steam level while ironing. All in all, I am very please with the SteamMaster.

I give the sunbeam steam master iron 4 stars because it didn't really perform correctly the first couple of times I used it. The steam feature was not working or delayed. After a few times of using this iron, the steam was working. It didn't seam to get really tough wrinkles out of one of the shirts I ironed though. The iron is quite large compared to most others out there but I guess it is because of the retractable cord. Be careful when you do push the cord retract button because it flies back really fast and it hurts. I like the iron other than a few minor issues though. I really like the vertical steam feature. I did receive this iron for free to test it out. I am happy with it but still cannot give it 5 stars.

We received this iron as a sample to review but boy are we glad we did. This iron is a professional machine. All our clothes are wrinkle free and look great. The steam function works great. We even ironed our shower curtain with it.

I was looking forward to trying thus iron since I've used a Rowenta for nearly 20 years. Taking it out the box, I mediately plugged it in and started using it according to the instructions. I would suggest running a new iron over a towel for a few minutes to keep the steam function from sputtering. Regardless if it was window coverings, clothing or linens, wrinkles stood no chance. While the iron feels a bit bulky because of the cord storage, it sure is a great feature to have and not need to wrap the cord around and around. I suggest slowly recoiling the cord as it didn't fully store the cord if you just let it spin in. This is a fine iron for the price point. I received my iron at no charge in exchange for my review. I was impressed enough with this iron, it has officially replaced my old Rowenta!

Great Iron with Great Features!

I received this iron for review and I loved it! Not only does it look sharp - I love the chrome with teal - but it has a lot of great features too. My favorite feature is the anti-drip system. Other steam irons I've used always seem to drip or dribble, but not this iron. I also like the adjustable steam options, so you can get just the right amount of steam where you want it. The retractable cord makes it easy to store and the auto shutoff make it safe to use. This steam iron is so nice and I would recommend to anyone!

The iron was everything it promised to be. I received the iron as a sample, but I likes it so much that I'm buying some to give as Christmas gifts.
