Fed forms easy to use

Easy to to file an Irrevocable trust.
Would have used state forms but MN was not available. Wish we could import data from financial institutions which would make the filing for trusts even smoother.

All-in-all it was easy to use. A little frustrating when it came to the K-1's. It kept on saying there was an error so I re-entered everything and then it went through. Glad it is done! Lots of info you have to put together for a 1041.
What's great about it: Not having to pay a CPA!
What's not so great: Scary to do without a CPA the first time.

Dependable but flawed

Missing guidance on whether to enter qualified or non-qualified foreign dividends. Error reported for missing snap number that's only required for efiling.
What's great about it: Generally good guidance on where to enter info from 1099
What's not so great: Prompts for info that isn't needed and reports error.

why wouldn't the include a schedule c for or state tax...
