Need more income diversity for 1041

Income section needs farming option and then option for Schedule F or Form 4835. You'll find a lot of people share crop their land. That is what Form 4835 is designed for. Still gave five stars even after doing work around and making a 4835 a supporting document.
What's great about it: Did all math correctly
What's not so great: Not set up to handle farm income
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Unhappy w/2016 Turbo

I've been using Turbo since 2004 and have rarely had a problem with transfer of information from QB. This year, everything seemed to be in the wrong place on the return. Entirely too much time spent correcting the entries
What's not so great: Did not transfer from QB correctly

Really good program
What's great about it: I thought the procedures used to develop the tax Return was very smooth and helpful.
What's not so great: Not specifically designed for oil and gas taxes, but worked out.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Trust Tax Filing
on March 24, 2017

from Texas
TT can be really frustrating. Doesn't answer questions by their tax pros. TT said I needed to file a state business return for the trust which I've never needed to file b4. TT didn't say why or that there had been any trust tax law changes. Called a CPA and he said to ignore it. No state file in TX.
What's great about it: able to efile
What's not so great: Questions not answered
