Highly recommended. Detailed explanations, even for start up companies. Some of the language requires extra search, but not a big problem

Easy to Use

We both have jobs and had started a small [side] construction business which is closing. Wish I didn't have to pay for Turbo Tax Home and Business AND Turbo Tax Business!
What's great about it: Help menus are easy to understand

Filed a number of professional tax documents

I feel like Turbotax should be build assuming that someone knows nothing about the existing tax system. I understand some basic concepts, but more explanation would be nice.
What's great about it: Easier than filing by hand
What's not so great: Sometimes, descriptions were vague and confusing

No support or explanations

This was my first time as a trustee having to file taxes and Turbo Tax was worthless in trying to understand what I was filling out, gave me conflicting information on what forms I needed to submit. It was a waste of my money as I'll now still have to go have a professional do this for me.

Who needs an Accountant

Business slowed down a little and could not afford to pay my account this year. Was scared to use Turbo Tax for the business, but they made it very easy to use.

Provides help when needed

Overall, the program was easy to use and provided enough flexibility to navigate back over items to reference or verify. The program frequently stops short of explaining "why" something is required and "where" the entry will wind up on the final forms. Tax law is not intuitive and I needed some help in understanding the flow and effect of entries.
What's great about it: Help screens & error checks
What's not so great: Conflicting help - i.e when I fixed some entries per the instructions it created different errors

To be honest, I don't know much about taxes and there's a little line right under that one...I don't want to know.

Software is Expensive- user must buy multiple tax software TurboTax Business, SCorp separately,
state not included, doesn’t catch everything. Home and Business has to be bought separately if you consult. Now Looking at other products as an alternative. Been using TurboTax since 1998, in one form or another. Fixing issues if tax is rejected is another problem.
