Last minute unexplainable issues!

1. GA Net worth tax $10 - was already paid because GA has bothered me in the past if amount is credited to them 2 days after tax-date - even if paid on time! So I already paid,how do i easily show? I couldn't get an answer, I left it to God and filed :|
2. Business Description character length seems to cause a problem, you can only figure this out as TurboTax would cyclically go through ready-to-file, review, ready-to-file, review . After splitting all my hair and look like a baldie, I fixed that and voila.

What's great about it: Step by step interview format worked great
What's not so great: E-filing failed to go through 6-7 times until it finally did. Whew!

LLC taxes

I've been using personal Turbo Tax for more than 15 years and Turbo Tax for Business the last 2 for our LLC. It definitely helps get through some of the ickier aspects of filing for an LLC. However, I'm not sure why they don't offer a combo version that will do personal and a 2 member LLC. That's my biggest gripe. Other than that, I really like the program as it makes completing the necessary K-1, 1065 and other forms much easier.
What's great about it: Liked TT taking me through step by step. Also, being able to jump to view forms and that TT imports in last year's data.
What's not so great: Sometimes even after no errors showing up on TT's review, there were issues to be resolved before e-filing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I am amazed at how efficient the software is. Download direct from QuickBooks & you're good to go!
What's great about it: Instructions in layman's terms.

Why my taxes would not file online!

I needed to file both Federal Taxes and NJ State taxes, but the Federal was due on Mar. 15th. After spending an hour on the phone with a Tax Expert (Peggy) at TurboTax
and trying to sort why I got an error msg everytime, I almost gave up. She was so patient and a lovely person.
Problem turned out to be that for the required signature form it must MUST be a .pdf file. I was trying with a .jpg file and it prevented the files being transmitted. So, now I know.
Converting the files when scanned is really an easy matter.

Taxes for Biz 2017

As usual the task was way facilitated. The ease of marching through the data even without the benefit of having access to the 2015 return was totally up to snuff.
The program hung twice. Once when I was trying to feed history of sales for the classification as a smallbiz, and ironically when I tried to link to the return signatre form, the very last step before filing. had to reboot twice to get that to work. Otherwise, totally satisfied. See you next year.

Feels outdated

No Mac edition, and not even an online edition. Worst of all - it does not support import from Quickbooks online.
Feels like two different companies
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Doesn't support Quickbooks online???
