Too long to load.
Step-by-step has errors which were frustrating to correct (duplicates the officers salaries).

What's not so great: Slow, Buggy

Great help, new features

Helpful to be able to link with Quickbooks instead of having to enter all information manually, but be sure to have your P&L and Balance Sheet handy to help in allocating sales and expenses to the proper categories.
What's great about it: Helped me find my download
What's not so great: Couldn't find one code I needed

barely adequate

this version of turbotax was not good. will probably just go to an accountant next year. This one left me to figure a lot of stuff out on my own. the options for expenses were not very good so ended up just totalling them up as one item. Should be able to create your own headings for expense categories. Then the filing instructions were vague also.
What's great about it: got it done..
What's not so great: very vague guidance.

The Ultimate Compliment-It Works!

TurboTax Business has been very reliable. I have used if for the past 3 years and I haven't had any trouble filing, and no audits, touch wood!
The best part about any Turbo Tax product is the ability to import the previous year's data. Of course, you have to enter everything the first time, but after that, it's amazingly simple. Also, if you happen to use QuickBooks, Turbo Tax will import the data from there.
Turbo Tax is always current with the tax laws, which can be like hitting a moving target, especially if you are a corporation. Just before finalizing your return, the software checks the internet for updates, and if necessary, updates itself and re-checks the return, just in case.
I do have one MAJOR complaint, and that is the fact that Turbo Tax Business only runs on a PC running Windows. The various Turbo Tax Personal versions run on PC and Mac. I use the Mac version for my personal returns, as it is my main computer. I have an old PC laptop that I keep around just for Turbo Tax Business. I might have to buy a new one next year, as Windows Vista will no longer be supported. I would love to see a version for Mac made available.
In summary, I used to use an accountant for many years to handle my personal and business tax returns. After a few years with Turbo Tax, I don't think I'll ever go back. This is truly a great product. It gets the job done both quickly and correctly. It's surprisingly affordable. And best of all, it just plain WORKS!
What's great about it: In Sync with tax laws, uploads previous year data
What's not so great: Only runs on PC

payroll wages

under the expnse form for wages, there was no column for wages for employees., there was officers, and shareholders less than 2 percent, and the help column stated that there is a column to put it in called " wages",, but alas, it does not exist. please fix for next year.
