State issues

I pay for the 4 states I require and then I have to get your help desk to assist with loading 3 because the program will only accept one. Took 1/2 day of my time to get this accomplished.
What's great about it: once loaded works well
What's not so great: business states are difficult to load

Have been using TurboTax for decades for nearly a hundred portfolio companies over time, it's still my favorite program for various ventures I work with. Flexible yet I have access to all the rules and it's always there to remind me of the details I need to keep. Saves enormous amounts of money over outsourcing, and not that much more time over prepping for outside services.
What's great about it: Couldn't do without it
What's not so great: no Delaware State

Used auto option for Turbotax - love option to import Quickbooks or not... this year decided not after some quirks last year. Loved autorenew and reminders - really simplifies Biz tax for a non-accountant - ok, a Type A who hates accounting!
What's great about it: Loved prior yeart comparison
What's not so great: Tough year for sales, but cut costs even more!

E-file extensions

For as much money as is paid for the business version of the software, we should be able to e-file an extension.

Wish it was available for mac's

I've been using for years and like it a lot, but my only gripe is that its not available for mac's.
I have to keep a PC around just for this program, all our other computers are macs. Very frustrating!

TurboTax & Quickbooks Online

It is really disappointing that all the investment in QB Online does not result in easy connectivity, or any connectivity, with TurboTax Business. This should be solved!
What's great about it: TurboTax has a good interview process

TurboTax Business

The TurboTax business step by step and help section does not cover the situation where an LLC partner withdraws cash to repay the start-up funding he/she supplied, nor the situation where the partners are taking some of the profits from the business. I had to go to the second level of TurboTax experts to find someone who knew how to handle this. This is fairly common, so TurboTax step by step should be improved to cover this type of transaction.
What's great about it: step by step is good
What's not so great: Needs more dialog and step by step for LLC partner cash withdrawals

Download and payment issues

Very difficult and inconsistent forms to complete to make purchases in order to download programs. It does not ask for email address then it gives an error that I did not enter one, without giving me a place to enter it! Especially when trying to purchase the STATE program, after already owning FED, it would not let me enter email address in ANYWHERE but would not process my order because I had not entered my email address.
What's not so great: difficult process to complete order to download especially STATE program
