Very good

I think that it is a common situation to have shareholder distribution determined based on the other elements of the return. So, instead of asking that number right away at the beginning of the process, I would include an option to enter that value later, or to accept the value computed by TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to use, comprehensive
What's not so great: Some deductions may be hard to find

Needs improvement

I have used Turbo Tax for business for many years now. I began working on my tax return on February 1 and just finished today (March 12). I had to wait on the state to finish their update. Then had to wait on Turbo Tax to update Federal Tax info twice. I will continue to use Turbo Tax for now. But would like to be able to finish my taxes once I start them.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Hiccups with the program along the way.

Turbotax Business - Trust Returns
on March 12, 2017
Posted by: EDC37
Unlike TurboTax, TurboTax Business does not import 1099's or K-1's. This is a major downside because trusts typically have both: investments in partnerships and capital transactions through brokerage firms. The requirement to either enter each capital transaction or attach a pdf of form 1099-B is a major reason why I would not use TT Business again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Major con - does not import
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Your agent Linda in Florida is the total reason that I stuck with Turbo tax and did not return my two purchases, business and premier.
Linda is professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. As a business owner I know how important employees are and Linda is the best!!!

Business taxes done pretty well

TurboTax Business has been our go-to solution since 2011. It is simple, easy to understand, has an amazing wealth of knowledge in the support library... but it doesn't allow you to save "in the cloud". While I understand some businesses would want the option to save offline copies only, it is convenient for some to save in to the cloud so that the files are accessible on different devices.
What's great about it: Easy to understand, detailed instructions
What's not so great: No ability to save online
Pros: I moved
