Got it done

Generally TurboTax works very well. As a small company I do not use the Balance sheet information. TurboTax does not completely follow through on the supress balance sheet checkbox. It supresses most of the balance sheet and clears some of the fields but rather than clearing them all it gives an error in the checking saying the fields need to be cleared. Then the total assets line takes you to the balance sheet to fill that in but you can't. It is not clear but the solution at that point is to simply type in the assets on page one (4D) without an override. It will only let you do that if you have checked to suppress the balance sheet info.
Some simple help on this field could read, "With assets less than $250,000 this field may be entered after checking box 13 on page 4"
On efiling - The checking for final errors should be before preparation of the signature page not after. Some of the items checked for should be found in the regular error checking. One that was found in this late check was overridden 4D on page 1. That caused me to cancel the whole operation and return to forms to sort it out then come back to the filing process. Big unnecessary waste of time.
What's great about it: Easy to enter data on forms
What's not so great: Some of the field checking happens after you start the filing process.

Beats paying an accountant

It was overall a good experience, they had a couple of updates that caused extra reviews and findings. Sometimes I got a little confused
What's great about it: Less expensive than account, seemed pretty simple and guided you through
What's not so great: I felt like everytime I did a review they found something new, sometimes I was a little confused.

Gets easier every year!

What can I say? This is the 6th year filing my company returns using TurboTax. I was able to complete the returns one Sunday afternoon. Couldn't be any easier!
What's great about it: Ability to import from Quickbooks
What's not so great: Some accounting line items don't import correctly

I have been using Turbotax software for years and like the tips, transfer of information each year and step through guide. I really, really, really wish that I could do both my business (Multi-member LLC) and personal taxes on my Mac. Hopefully someday...

Federal was easy but I had to call the State to get correct direction on which state I had to file State return

Install Nightmare

Could never get the product installed on my windows 8.1 and Win 10. Said .net framework was the reason. Ran all .net framework tips and no corrupt files found on either machine. Finally try my surface pro and was able to install

When dealing with deductions, I would like to see a much better explanations of things you can deduct. Some tax code issues will require to be better explained.
What's great about it: I liked how Turbo Tax walks you through
What's not so great: Some tax concepts should be further explained
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Why Not Import F4562?

last year I bought a package that did not include depreciation schedule. I bought the one I always bought, but Intuit made it an upgrade (i think). So I plugged the depreciation for 2015. This year 4562 is back, why couldn't Turbo tax just import the ones from 2010 - 2014?
