Better descriptions

Needs better descriptions of what the entries should be (ex. gross or net)
What's great about it: Works the same way every year.
What's not so great: Shows the totals but not the detail from the previous year.

So far so good...

Regular turbo tax user for past 20 years, but first time using turbo tax business to file 1041 for a family trust. Language in descriptions of fields seems to be written for a tax nerd, which I'm not - so be prepared to do some research.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use.
What's not so great: Not much in the way of explanations for fields, so be prepared to do your own research.

Great tool for the tax diy'er.
What's great about it: direct import from previous year and quickbooks
What's not so great: hard to understand some of the explanations.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Still needed more help

I am still trying to find out what I did wrong in the balance sheet... not enough help to work that out. I think that having the accountant advisor get onto my file rather than just talking about an issue would have been much more efficient. But overall I would definitely recommend this. I tried Credit Karma and found this to be much easier, as I could save as I went along. Credit Karma kept timing out.
What's great about it: Once you get used to it - quite simple
What's not so great: Hard to find answers sometimes

Great product

Product was easy to use, but not sure where to put sales taxes paid on products sold, used the "other" category. Most descriptions easy to use - already a fan from personal tax use for 10 years!
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: trouble with audit defense
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another TurboTax Year, another successful e-file!

TurboTax Business 2016 was a fast efficient and accurate way to prepare taxes for my children's trust fund. I verified much information online and a quick answer of a lingering question from a trust accountant verified that it was done correctly. I am very satisfied with this year's turbo tax and highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Importing last year's tax files saves time and avoids errors. Overall it is fast, efficient, and user-friendly!
What's not so great: I miss the refund window at the top of TurboTax Business. It remains in the Home & Business version.

I loved being able to import my tax information from last year and the amount of information you can get help on
