Every small business needs TurboTax

We have been using TurboTax for our business for 6 years. It is efficient and saves us time and expenses. We can quickly input the information from gathered records in the step by step walkthrough.

Turbo Tax Business

Used for estate taxes. great, as always, but not easy to change the filing year from 1/1-21/31 to some other fiscal year. i couldn't figure out how to do it.

Awesome, but not perfect

Turbo Tax Home and Business should tell the user that while they are entering information under "Business Income and Expenses", they must NOT enter information that is mentioned in a Schedule K-1 (Form 1120S) because Turbo Tax will ask for that at a different step.

Fixes/updates are necessary

I love Turbo Tax for Business. However, this year there are a few items that need to be fixed so they do not need to be overridden:
1. Transfer of correct percentages to Partners' K-1
2. Correct current Accumulated Depreciation needs to transfer to the Balance Sheet on the return.
I fixed both of those problems manually, and was glad I caught them before I submitted my returns.

Perfect as always

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and always find it better than any of the other software out there.
What's great about it: Very fast when you use Quick Books
What's not so great: Needing to buy a new copy each year a simple update would work for me. The additional cost for NH is absurd.

LLC Federal and State Filing

We created an LLC in July, which required several IRS Forms e.g.,1065's, 4562, and K-1's for both Federal and State. The LLC had to be submitted in order to complete our personal taxes which can now be completed in a a couple days.
What's great about it: Allowed us to completed all paperwork for Federal and State and submitted electronically today
What's not so great: Becareful the software uses "Partnership" and Member Managed LLC synonomously

This is 2017 - Where is the Mac Version?

I use TurboTax Home and Business for Mac for myself and my sole proprietorship, but with my LLC, I have to use TurboTax for windows because they don't make a Mac version. What gives? Our company hasn't owned a PC since 2008. Give us a Mac version of TurboTax for business.
What's great about it: The Turbotax programs are easy to use
What's not so great: Got a business? You'll need Windows to run TurboTax business.
