Thorough and Simple

The question-based approach is simple and easy to follow. Additionally, the navigation allows for going back to revise or validate with ease.

Partnership and LLC Tax Prep Review

In general I like TurboTax, it has been my Tax Software of Choice for Years.
The software for Personal Taxes seems much more robust then the software for Business. In completing my Partnership and LLC tax returns I ran into problems with the Special Depreciation Allowance adjustments for WI. 1.) Same data had to be entered both manually and was entered automatically from the Federal Form. 2.) Since the same data was coming from two sources, it appeared rounding was not consistent when getting into $1 and $2 spreading of adjustment among partners.
Regarding #1 I spent about 2 hours on the phone with you representative to figure out my issues (421744381, The guy that helped me was fantastic.). Thanks for having that representative available, that seems to be an improving area. Bottom line for me, I like TurboTax but I feel the Business Software could be better.

What's not so great: Business Software not as Robust as Personal Software.

If you run a small business and need to file a company tax return Turbo Tax Business is a great product to use. support is excellent.

Taxes Done with Ease

Every year I am faced with several tax forms that I have to put together. I always seem to forget what I did last year to get going, but TurboTax is patient and helpful. I get help on the phone who is pleasant and calm. I get my books about me and the program walks me through the process and by the end of the afternoon I am done!
What's great about it: The title says it all.
What's not so great: It is always a little difficult getting started.

Have used Turbo Tax for years and it has worked well. I look for the description of what works best for me or I use what filled in itself. It is a fairly easy program to use and you don't have to be an accountant to use it. The price is fair too.
What's great about it: The ease of doing it.
What's not so great: sometimes don't have the answer i want
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
