Works ok

I have been using Turbo Tax for years along with Quick Books for accounting. However importing Quick books is not a seamless process. Turbo Tax asks questions about quite a few entries in regards to tax entry allocations. Since Turbo Tax and Quick Books are both Intuit products why is that happening? When I enter data to Quick Books I allocate it to appropriate accounts with tax defined mapping. I would appreciate some feedback.

Got it done

I used this program last year as well as in 2016 and plan to use it again in the future. TurboTax Business (needed for S-Corp) does not communicate with TurboTax Home & Business (needed for Personal and Sole Proprietorship). Therefore, when changes are made to the S-Corp that affect the K-1 of the shareholders, that information does not transfer to Home and Business program. TurboTax is capable of importing QB information as well as the previous year's TurboTax information yet is not capable of importing the K-1 information from one program to another. This allows for human error as well as a chance to file the Personal Taxes incorrectly.
What's great about it: Allows me to choose what I want to work on but can also guide me through step-by-step if I need it.
What's not so great: TurboTax Business does not communicate with TuboTax Home & Business. Therefore, the K-1 information does not transfer.

wish log on wasn't so difficult

Log on was painful, as I also have TurboTax premier for personal taxes, and accounts kept combining into my personal account so I couldn't open my business account.
