We have a small business. Can easily do our own taxes with T.T. Do not have to pay anyone else or take time to go to an office.

OKay till the end

I do an Estate return every year and this was the easiest to do using Premier. The only draw back was when I tried to get Audit defense and Turbo tax would not let me sign into my account,finally I got it done one hour later. The e-file was almost a snap except the questions after I scanned it into the file which I finally figured out. I am grateful that I can E-file this return.
What's great about it: easy to use, able to e -file

Great tool with only a few minor problems

Overall a very good product that I have used for many years. Only a few small glitches that required me to edit the forms directly in order to fix the problem. All-in-all I am fan and will continue to use TurboTax going forward!
What's great about it: Thorough forms support
What's not so great: some problems with multiple imports

Some Glitches

Form 8453-FE to be printed did not capture my signature, although 'attachment' did. Hope IRS got the signed version.
Trust did not have tax-exempt income, but box asking if there was tax-exempt income was checked 'yes'. I had to go through and remove all answers ( even $0) before that was corrected.

1065 Partnership Return

The Step-by-step entry only seems to work for simple returns. I always end up going to the Forms to complete items that don't seem to flow through. I have to always go back and complete extra statements with data. I would like it if you could copy the supporting data for security income entries. The same securities are listed many times for various reasons, but they have to be entered again and again on separate forms and miscellaneous statements.
It would be nice if there was a form to enter 1099 Brokerage income data directly. Being able to enter K-1 data directly is a welcome feature.

Easy as usual

This is my 6th year of preparing my partnership return using Turbo Tax. This is a pretty simple return, so it's easy if you have your documentation lined up. Had to fix a couple of classification errors, which proved to be harder than it should be, but I worked through it. Otherwise, the prep and filing went quickly. Will continue to use Turbo Tax going forward.
What's great about it: Prior year data carry-over
What's not so great: Fixing errors not necessarily the best.
