Basically easy to use.

Not bad all in all.I wish one state was included in each separate account per program. Cost is plenty high and then add a state. Could almost hire a CPA for the total final cost.I am happy to have the programs to do on our own and happy with calculations.Importing state info. from previous year to save time could be nicer if it was more inclusive of the previous year info.Sometimes have to update thetransfer.
What's great about it: Guiding system, to the point questions.
What's not so great: Moving from income to Deductibles when expenses are listed in income section.

FAST AND EASY

I like being given the option of Wizard to guide you or Quick entry so you can just get the job done. My Corporate return was finished in 15 minutes. I'm a QuickBooks Pro Advisor so having good clean books certainly helps. TurboTax is a product I've used for years and have come to rely and trust on when it comes to filing my taxes, both corporate & personal.

Software bug

Step by step user interface has a bug:
The total salary won't change no matter how much officer salary is entered. I have to go to form to edit the field, then the calculation will become correct at the Step by step interface.

Saved me hundreds!

After years of paying insane fees to have my Sub-S return done, I finally took the plunge. I only wished that I had done it years ago because I would be several thousand dollars ahead!
What's great about it: Very easy to follow the guided step by step process.
What's not so great: I liked everything about this product.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The software is easy to use. The California Corporate step by step did not capture everything properly, I needed to go into Forms and manually edit.
What's great about it: Simple to use
What's not so great: Step by step doesn't catch everything

Easy business tax processing

I have used TurboTax for business for many years and it is getting easier each year. I like how the program imports from last year tax data to save input time and to remind me of what was filed the prior tax year. It helps to compare prior tax year to ensure nothing is missed. Looking at the prior year reminded me of some tax items that could be deducted that may otherwise been overlooked. Truly a money savings feature in my case.
What's great about it: Ease of use with detail explanation of tax options
What's not so great: Extra step to purchase State version... should be offered by 3rd party up front

Great

Works fairly well for an investment club. But would be nice if a person could automatically install sales of stock directly into turbo tax business. Instead of doing it manually.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Good references when stuck
What's not so great: Can't auto download stock 1099 composite data directly
