Need better way to enter K1s

The program should collect info from schedule L (Inc/Dec), and compare with the individually entered data on each K1 to make sure that all entries are correct. Without this, hard to find data entry errors will keep the balance sheet from balancing.

Still Extremely Disappointed

I am still extremely disappointed that TurboTax Business is not available for Mac OS X. I have to use the business version but it only comes in Windows flavor. That means I have to maintain a Windows computer just to do my taxes every year. Come on, TurboTax, you can do better by your long-term customers.
What's great about it: It works.
What's not so great: Not user friendly.

Painful

Long boring process, Not enough support from either the IRS or Turbo Tax. When I have a question, I expect an answer not a reading lesson regarding the US Tax Code

Quick and easy

This was the first 1041 I've done using TurboTax. Will never try any other program again.
What's great about it: Easy to follow prompts and instant explanations when I had a question

Need to sync TurboTax Business with QBO

Your company seems to be pushing for a move to quickbooks online so it only seems natural to be able to import directly from there. When I went through the steps to extract a file from QBO and then import, TurboTax can't simply import the file. It says you have to have quickbooks desktop installed, not just a quickbooks desktop file. Very serious limitation when you consider QBO is used for businesses and is what your company is moving towards.
What's great about it: Liked the walkthrough and ability to quickly view forms version as well
What's not so great: No option to sync with Quickbooks online
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TURBO TAX MAKES FILING A RETURN FAIRLY EASY, ESPECIALLY THE TEDIOUS TASK OF ENTERING ASSETS FROM YEAR TO YEAR TO FIGURE DEPRECIATION. PROVIDES LAST YEARS FIGURES TO GIVE YOU AN INSTANT SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOU FILED LAST YEAR, EASY TO SEE IF CURRENT YEARS FIGURES SEEM OUT OF LINE.
MY BIGGEST ANNOYANCE COMES FROM THE INABILITY TO FILE AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE WITHIN THE PROGRAM. CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS CANNOT BE DONE, AS I HAVE WORKED WITH MULTIPLE PROFESSIONAL TAX PROGRAMS THAT MADE THIS A BREEZE.
