New Platform

This is the first year TT is on Win7 or higher OS. It has been a real pain in the butt having to reboot back and forth between two operating systems. After being a TT user for 32 years it is the first time I have been really unhappy with the process. Seems to me, being a former software development manager for IBM, that you could write your software to be flexible enough to support XP.

Great Tool for Tax Time!

Have used TT for many, many years and continue to find it easier to use every year and something that makes complying with all federal tax regulations easier to do.
What's great about it: Easy to use; used import function for the first time and really liked it

Was unable to fix problems found in review. Therefore, I was forced print and mail my returns at additional costs
What's great about it: It is great there is a review process and the the e-file cannot move forward with E-file until review is passed
What's not so great: No help was provided as to how to fix problems. No Chat box for customer contact. No References materials available

Interesting experience

I will continue to use TurboTax because I do feel it is a good product. However, for someone new to doing their own business taxes I found the software cumbersome to get answers to questions. After several searches I did find the schedule a call feature for support. That is an awesome feature and the person I spoke to was extremely helpful.
I look forward to continuing to learn with Intuit Quick Books and TurboTax.
