Should not have this problem with a software program that is supposed to be ready to use.
What's great about it: Finished return fine until tried to print

If you are filing business taxes, don't waste your money on TurboTax. Things aren't clearly explained and it is no easier than filling out the forms yourself. Never again.

Not bad, could be better

So easy to use, except if you're late!

I'm darned good at preparing a Tax Return with Turbo Tax, especially now that we have soooooo fully integrated Quickbooks with Turbo Tax. However, it appears that if you've upgraded QB's to a more recent edition, it ceases to be compatible with older version of Turbo Tax. Like with QB's Pro 2016 and Turbo Tax Business 2014. Or so it seems.
I had already imported once, in 2015, but now that I am finally kicking into gear to get the final return submitted, it wouldn't let me re-import. So, I had to enter all of the account balances manually. A bit of a pain, but otherwise, Turbo Tax is awesome!
What's great about it: The integration with Quickbooks is outstanding ...
What's not so great: ... until you're late with your return. Then, not so much.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using TurboTax now for maybe 10 or more years. I don't know if I am learning more about business and taxes, or if you are making the program easier to us, because this year I found it very easy to understand and use.

Needed Help

Had trouble balancing the income reconciliation and the three different support reps I spoke with couldn't help me. Two of them the call was dropped and I had to go through the process again to get another rep. The last one escalated my call to a tax expert but he was limited by Turbo Tax's licensing agreement so couldn't resolve the issue either. At last I solved it myself.
What's great about it: Easy to reach support
What's not so great: Couldn't help with my issue.

Hard to find things. What should have taken me an hour ended up taking me 3 hours or more.
What's not so great: hard to find on line, couldn't access my prepaid account; hard to find k-1 distributions

S-Corp Taxes

I have been using TuboTax products for more than 10 years. I have always found the results to be more than satisfactory! This year was no exception.
What's great about it: This is a solid product for a small corporation
What's not so great: It could be improved by a bit more advance narrative as to what will be produced and the sequence of production.
