What's not so great: can't easily file extension, There is not summary to say if your extension was filed. i kept getting errors on efile

TurboTax is like the CNN of income tax software and programs. The most trusted, most reliable, and first choice!
What's great about it: Ease of use, explanation of difficult topics
What's not so great: The tax owed/refund calculator was on this year's edition

Awesome tax preparation software

Turbo tax is a must if you want to e-file your tax return and it makes everything easy for you - especially when you have a small business, it gives you much more sense of understanding than hiring a third-party accountant (well I am also using intuit Quickbook to track everything related to my small business).
What's great about it: Very easy to work with
What's not so great: It still takes some time to finish it:)
Pros: I bought or sold investments, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I think this is very easy to use, especially if your year-to-year situation doesn't change that much. On the cons, I find the income reconciliation to be difficult because there is poor visiblity to the software entries versus the outcome relative to the books. I find myslef having to cycle through income and expenses numerous times to get this to work out. I would rather be able to diagnoze better why it does not match up.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Income Reconciliation visibility

Doesn't work with Intuit and Efile Doesn't work

What has happened to Turbotax????
First I could not get Turbotax to login to my Intuit account to download the State software even after repeatedly changing my login password. It just would not login in. I ultimately had to create a brand new account.
Now my return has been rejected due to a communication error from TurboTax. Some XML path error. So did TurboTax test this year's software or not?
I'm very unhappy so far!!!
What's great about it: As ususal, easy to complete your return
What's not so great: Will not recognize Intuit accounts to download State software

The software duplicated income under 2 lines then when an amendment needed e-filed the software wouldnt allow it but the IRS requires efiled amended returns with an efiled 1065 business return.
