Only Way To Go

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2007 and I love it; if you own a small business and have rental property; Turbo Tax is the way to go ... it's easy to use and does most of the work for you.
What's great about it: easy to use, does all the work for you
What's not so great: sometimes have to look stuff up, but not often

There is a closed loop in reconciling owner's equity/capital that needs to be fixed - I had to manually correct the return

TurboTax was efficient and easy to use as ever. I was able to do what I wanted to accomplish quickly and with a minimum of effort.
My only complaint is when you do the review and something is flagged, there is no apparent "help" to fix the problem.
What's great about it: Easy to follow using step by step
What's not so great: got hung up in a review step

Easy and Clean

Can't complain, fair priced and great product. I do wish it could sync with the quickbooks online. Huge flaw since it is the same company. Had to do it manually so it took me longer then necessary.
What's great about it: Can't complain. Makes it easy and fast
What's not so great: Does not sync with Quickbooks Online

Easy and complete

The program is great. Quick and easy to use. However, I am disappointed that there is no version of Turbotax for MAC that will do Trust returns that require a 1041. There must be a large market of people that do trusts who do not need some of the other facets of the Business program, and that should be able to be programmed for the MAC as an extension of Turbotax Premier.

I have been trying to do my business taxes on my own for about three weeks. My company has used professional services in the past at extremely high costs. I cannot believe how quickly and easily TurboTax walked me through each and every step, both state and federal. You are a Godsend!

TurboTax Business Needs lot of Improvments

Add a feature to insert a needed form without going thru a difficult search.
Add a feature to enter the investment data (Dividend, Interest, Capital Gains, Recap of 1250 Gains, Foreign Tax Paid etc.) by just duplicating the the corresponding Box numbers in the Investment Broker Form 1099-B.
What's great about it: Carry forward Data helps a lot
What's not so great: Very difficult to reach a proper place to enter the data. Not user friendly.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
