I have use Turbo Tax for my personal taxes for years. This is my first time with Turbo Tax Business. Just followed questions and answered and things work very well. Filed a 1065 partnership form.

Another Easy Year with Turbo Tax

Get your papers ready ahead of time and just let them guide you through. Very easy to process taxes and software is user friendly. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and trust its reliability.
What's great about it: Easy to use, explanations for everything, great assistance in correcting mistakes etc.
What's not so great: Only wish you did S Corps for Mac's otherwise no negatives at all!

Excellent but one thing not so good

In all other years, I have never had to file a state business return since I file a Form 1065 as an LLC. TT always said not need to file a state return. This year they said I did. I researched it by going to Michigan.gov and even went to an accountant. There is no need to file a state return although TT said I should. This caused me lost time. Why did TT make what seems like an error?

I have been using Turbotax for over 10 years to do our business taxes; without TT, we would be paying an accountant many times the cost of this software. TT gets a little better every year; the only thing I hate is that often while running the final review, TT will present a tax form and ask me to fill in some blank line. If I knew how to just fill in all the blanks on the forms without guidance, I would not need Turbotax!

Great piece of software

I have a finance background but I'm not a CPA. I was able to prepare taxes for an LLC and an S-corp with relative ease with this software. TurboTax does a great job of walking you through the required items, and gives access to the relevant raw forms if you need to roll up your sleeves and customize a little bit more.
Only thing that was a little tricky was handling special allocations for the K-1s. Took me a little while to figure that out and it didn't seem like I was able to allocate certain items.
What's great about it: Easy to put together multiple federal and state business returns
What's not so great: Special allocation section was a little tricky
