Fast & easy

Prepared an estate return. This is the first time I've done one. Compared to last year's professionally prepared return & I saved about $1000 doing it myself.

What's great about it: Led me through the steps on a previously unattempted return type.
What's not so great: It's a good thing I have an accounting background.

Works as Promised

Glad I used it. What little quirkiness was overshadowed by general ease of use.
What's great about it: Ease of Use; Integration with QuickBooks; Convenience
What's not so great: Some Quirky forms that had to be worked around. Not enough guidance on some forms, e.g., NOL Carryover worksheet

Easy to Use, but Import Never Works for Me

I've used Turbotax for Business for many years. Very easy and intuitive for a small business owner to use. Lots of great guidance and resources to answer questions.
But, for the past 5 years or more, whenever I've tried to import my Quickbooks data, I always get an import error. I've given up on trying to import.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, great tips
What's not so great: Import of Quickbooks never works

CONFUSED ME!!

SUPER TO USE AS IT GUIDES YOU IN THE PROCESS. BUT SOME TIMES THEY DO SOMETHING BEHIND THE SCENES AND FIGUE JUST CHANGED. ALL OK WITH YOUR A TAX PERSON. IF THEY WOULD SHOW WHAT THE ARE DOING IT WOULD BECOME CLEAR. HOURS WOULD NOT BE WASTED WORKING DETERMINE WHAT IS GOING ON.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE IF YOU HAVE YOU INFORMATION READY
What's not so great: WITH SUB S CORP THE ADD OWNER HEALTH INSURANCE TO COMPENSATION. THEY DONOT EXPLAIN, THE NUMBER IS HIGHER. SPENT 3+HOUR

I've been a long time Turbo Tax User.
I use it for Business and personal taxes.
It never disappoints us. Turbo Tax makes our work faster and very accurate.

What's great about it: Ease, Accuracy, Quick even in complicated tax isues
Pros: I bought or sold investments, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
