We got rid of the range/oven in our kitchen and replace the stovetop with this Pic Double.
One burner has changed to celius display and we cannot make it change back to farenheit but that's a minor issue. Instruction say to press Cook Time and Cook Temp simultaneously but no matter what we do only one or the other is activated. Can't find the trick for simultaneously pressing them...although we must have done this accidentally to get the display to change to "C" in the first place. Just can't change it back.

Eight years ago, I was in my energy class and realized my stove was costing me energy & money, so, I purchased a NuWave Pro BOGO with pots and pans & the cover. The first month I had a positive change in my energy bill. With that said, I learned how to use my NuWave pro, I used the timer, the guide and the NuWave pans (Honestly, I only have the pots left, because the pans are awful. I switched to cast iron pans!) I put one away and only use it during the holidays. After two years of everyday use, I hear a funny noise, so I switched out the NuWaves to give it a break. Later, I learned it was because water was under the kettle. LoL. After using the 2nd NuWave Pro for eight years, I’m switching them
out again to give it a break, however, I feel it’s possibly on its last legs. Even after my own personal experience with this product; I still read the lower reviews to see why some people were disappointed and because products do change, companies have a tendency to cut corners to save money, however, other companies that provide part also cut corners without telling the company they provide too. My reason for letting you all know this is...
I do plan on purchasing a newer NuWave Pro within the next few months, so I can continue to switch them out. I enjoy the saving in my energy bill and I really enjoy cooking with my NuWave Pro. It’s so easy to use, we taught our special needs sister how to use it, so, she can cook for herself and she makes perfect food every day. She’s even made a full meal for the family. Thanks NuWave for helping to provide an independent life for our sister.

Hurricane Blessing

I bought my Nuwave many years ago and only used it a few times. It has been zipped up in it's cover for at least 6 years. Long story short, Hurricane Laura hit out parish in Louisiana. I have been without electricity since Thursday, August 2nd at 1 AM. I am running a generator, A/C window unit, and refrigerator/freezer. I can't run my stove/microwave or dryer because my generator is too small. I went to my shed dug out my Nuwave, and a few pits and pans that work with my Nuwave! I am eating hot meals and not adding heat to my little place. The heat index in Louisiana is well over 100 degrees at this time. I just wanted y'all to know what a real blessing this Nuwave has been for me! Everyone in areas of hurricanes should buy one, two, or ten of these wonderful cooktops! People in areas that have to run generators this is perfect! Thank you, Nuwave! As old as it is, I plugged it in and cooked to my heart's content!!! No heat in my house, plugs right into my wall outlet, didn't bog down my generator! A blessing! Thank you, again Nuwave! I am singing your praises! It may be another 2 weeks before I get power back but as long as I have my generator and Nuwave, I will be eating hot meals!

We have had this induction hot plate for several years. We bought it to use in our camper van and our experience with this is what convinced us to install an induction cooktop in our home. I love the fact that the hot plate surface is durable - not glass. I like the fact that the heat control settings are reproducible - so once you figure out how to cook perfect creamy scrambled eggs you can do it every time. Highly recommend this product.

I have bought at least 5 or 6 of these. Two were for my kids and one was for our RV. We are on our 2nd or 3rd one now and I wouldn't be without one. My youngest granddaughter now is using one in her efficiency apartment. It is perfect for making my caramel for my turtles for Christmas as the heat is precise and holds it at exactly the right temperature for the 40 to 45 min. cooking time. Love, love, love these.

Or as long as they have been making them. In houses. In campers. PICs are the number one best way to cook on a stovetop. Why is it the best? Because it allows me or my husband (he is 90j to precisely control temperature. We never burn food. I currently have a brand new stove. Rarely use it. Only if I cook spaghetti or we both want to cook at the same time. In campers, we store the PIC in its own drawer. It is also safe in a camper. And safe for elderly to use since it will turn off if you take the pan off the cooktop. We love the PIC.

I have had 2 of these for years. I bought 2 once I found out how great 1 worked. I didn't want to be without one if it died. They are both going strong. I alternate use. I've used mine so much, one of the touch buttons are worn.

We bought our two several years back when you bought one get one for low cost and a set of pans. We use them every meal we make, they bring things to temperature much faster without the burn factor. It uses less energy and is much safer to use when kids or grand-kids are around to learn to cook. It takes a little getting used to but once you do... da hard part is to keep the weight off!!!
First one gave out a while back after 5+ years of intense use. Looking for the next deal so I keep our supply stocked, cannot cook without one.
