I am so excited! I have a pressure cooker that I have had for several years. I moved into a home that has a gas range. It is 117° outside,so heating up my stove is not an option. I realized that my pressure cooker was compatible with my nuwave cooktop. It normally takes up to 10 minutes for the red ring to rise on the pressure cooker. It rose on my new wave, in one and a half minutes. I was cooking Red new potatoes, and it took them seven minutes. I am so thrilled not to have to be using a hot stove, and yet can cook with very little heat in the kitchen. I love my nuwave induction cooking.

Food tastes so much better. Cooks so much faster; and yet, done to perfection. I also have the NuWave Oven. So all our foods for our own families are done so much better.
Love not having the heavy grease still in our food or letting it sit and soak in it while cooking.
Everything washes up so quickly and in no time at all the kitchen is back in order by the time the food is set out on the table.
I am looking forward to buying the utensils and the storage containers for leftovers. Usually not too much is left over unless extra is cooked for lunches the following day.
Thank you so much for such great products.
Sincerely yours,
Lavinia

I use it with the built-in timer to make chicken stock in my induction-ready pressure cooker. Once it's up to pressure I can just walk away! Also works great with my cast iron skillets! Great when we're traveling too, since we can easily make omelets or anything else in our hotel room. No excessive heat, and it's very light and easy to carry on the road.

I am having so much fun with my PIC 2 cook tops. I've had them now for about a week and it's been great. I love pasta and was amazed when the water for cooking my pasta had bubbles on the bottom of the pan in 12 seconds. So cool. There just isn't any excuse for burning anything. I suggest when converting your everyday recipes to use with your PIC you closely monitor what your cooking. Start out with the lower temps and graduate to the higher temps slowly. Your gonna love it. Cooking is a real joy now. Lets face it, cooking after awhile can become a real drudge day in and day out, trying to come up with something new. My PIC 2' has put the joy of cooking back into it. I'm having fun in the kitchen again. Sorry, I would have taken some pictures cooking something, but I currently don't have a camera. Thanks NU WAVE

I started using it as a camp-stove when I found how fast it cooks and regulates the temperature. We like park camping and usually always have electricity available-- either in the park or with a generator.
Just can't beat those 1 or 2 pan meals when you're in a hurry or the weather is kicking up. I'd rather have that than a gas camp stove any day. Won't start an accidental fire either.

I don't have to constantly be cleaning at my nuwave like I did on my electric range. Hard to get off spills. I can adjust my cooking temperature better. I can take my nuwave with me really easy to my cabin. Have something to cook on. It's so easy to clean, just wipe off.

Since buying the Nu Wave PIC (Gold) almost two years ago, this is the only cook top my husband and I have used for all our meals.

(We did the '2 for 1' deal but still haven't needed to use our second one since it's just the two of us. Lol!)

There really isn't much of anything you can't do with the Nu Wave PIC.

Some of the foods we've cooked are: Pierogis, spaghetti & meatballs, homemade ravioli, homemade mac & cheese, chili, burrito fillings, chimichangas, fried chicken, all kinds of egg dishes, New England Clam Chowder, stews and soups, chops & steaks, all kinds of rice and potatoes, Northern- and Southern-style chicken & dumplings, all kinds of gravy including Sausage and Hamburger, French Toast, pancakes and crepes, steamed & fried veggies, fried oysters, steamed crabs and clams, and even homemade Peanut Brittle and Cashew Brittle...YUM!

We've even 'baked' canned biscuits, meatloaf, pork, fish, cut-up chicken, and frozen pizza in the pans by placing a cover on the pan (doesn't matter which pan you use)and setting the temperature anywhere from Low to Low/Medium, depending on what is being 'baked'.

(Don't tell my hubby but I've also used the Nu Wave for warming potpourri oil and even Apple Pie Spice in water!
Yes, the spice you'd use when making apple pies. Lol.
I simply keep the temp setting at "low" or "Low/Med. There's no worry about the pan or contents ever getting too hot, and so far the water has never evaporated before the hour was up.)

NONE of our meals nor pans have burnt since we started using our Nu Wave PIC. The accuracy of the temperature setting is great.

I've also saved quite a bit of money by being able to reuse my cooking oil over and over again. In fact, since the oil doesn't overheat now, there's no 'fish' or 'chicken' taste that gets carried over to the next food you use the oil for!

I am even more happy today with my Nu Wave PIC than I was the day it arrived because it has proven itself to be a durable and long-lasting cook top that I can rely on!

BTW, if your kitchen is small or even non-existent as in a dorm room or hotel room, this is the cook top you want!

It takes up very little space, will automatically stop heating when you lift the pan off of the burner top, automatically turns itself off in an hour, cools quickly, and, IMO, is far safer to use than any traditional electric burners.

It also cleans like a breeze, and you can easily store the Nu Wave PIC and its' pots/pans/lids in a box under the bed or in a closet.
