I love my electriclux French door fridge. The reason I bought was for the dual ice makers we go through a lot of ice. I'm diabetic and need a lot of water and ice, this has helped me out a whole bunch, I always have ice, no need to go to the store and lug home bags of ice that take up a lot of room in the fridge.
The French doors make it easier to get something out without opening both doors and easy access to stuf on the door including milk and pop. If I hade to buy another fridge I would buy the same as I have now.

Really good design..maximum use of space. Easy to clean, dual ice makers are one of the best features. Over all my only complaint is the the touch screen is a bit difficult to use does not always respond quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This machine replaced the one I purchased 3 years ago. I had consistent problems with the water and ice dispenser. So much that the place I purchased from spoke with his Electrolux rep who agreed to swap out the machine. This new one seems to run constantly and is quite loud. I can hear it at night and I am on the second floor and the unit is on the first floor. In regards to the design, it is noticeable that the doors do not seem to seal tightly. I raised this with the place of purchased and they advised that how all new machines are. At this point I am skeptical with the new refrig based on the problems with the first refrig.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The first refrigerator we received we did not get any ice or water. Also the freezer froze so we could not open it. We got a replacement one that took 2 weeks to get.
The replacement now makes a loud humming sound that lasts about 1/2 to 1 hour. Upon opening the freezer the noise stops and when closing it it starts up again. The humming is intermittent.
We are now waiting for a repairman to come. I should not have these problems with refrigerators that were first installed on 11/25.
What is the problem. Very disappointed with product for the price we paid.

Bought one when they first came out with the new ice machine. It was a lemon. every six months like clock work the ice machine quit working. It was always three to four attempts each service call to get it repaired. Finally it got to the point they couldn't repair it. After several months without ice the company finally replaced the whole refrigerator. That was back in August 2013. So far so good... Of coarse it's only been four months so time will tell.

Nice, but not if you like ice

I loved this refrigerator at first---the controls are pretty and it is appealing in design and function. A few months into use though our ice quit coming out on the first push and now I don't even attempt to get the ice to come out without reaching in the bucket because it could take 10+ tries at pushing the ice button. We are waiting for a repairman to complete the repair. Our water out of it tastes delicious though!!

My new Fridge

Have only had this model for 6 months. No issues so far!! I do love the style and the roominess. The stainless finish wipes up pretty good without streaks! Very happy about that!! The bottom freezer drawer has more space then I thought it would. And of course the french doors are a great style. The fridge itself is deep, so can get many items in there.

Freezer has always been a problem. First the basket was warped and the freezer would not seal when it closed. It would always freeze/frost up. Even with the new basket it still will not seal. The door looks crooked but we could never get any help on that. It still does not seal good. The door opens too easy.
