Third Replacement in 3 years! LEMON LEMON LEMON

We purchased SIX Electrolux appliances when we built our new home. We are EXCEEDINGLY DISPLEASED with all of them, but the refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stove mostly. We have had 2 full replacements of refrigerators in 3 years and so we are on our 3rd refrigerator, which was recently replaced. We've already had a repairman out twice and it's still doesn't work properly! We currently have a broken Electrolux refrigerator AND microwave. We've had repairmen out more times than I can count and it's cost us plenty in terms of TIME and MONEY! We will never, ever, ever purchase another Electrolux appliance again and we have told as many people as we possibly can how horrible Electrolux appliances are!

Ice maker in first refridgerator could not be rtepaird. We were given a replacement unit. ice maker in that one has now needed 5 vivists from repair compamny. finally working but now back up ice maker in freezer compatment is not working. always something. probabaly have bought 40 bags of ice since i bought these units.

Horrible Quality

The refrigerator looks nice and has interesting bells and whistles. That being said we are on our 4th refrigerator and experiencing problems with the 4th. The primary problems include insufficient cooling, poor quality gaskets on freezer, continually inoperative ice maker, and leaky water dispenser. So, from a looks perspective, its fine, but from a quality and execution perspective, massive fail. If only I could go back in time and spend less and get a superior product. Really resent making this purchase based on the experience. I purchased the refrigerator from Lowes and they brought the first unit out in an open back truck in the rain. Lowes has been a nightmare ever since that initiation to their treatment of supposedly premium appliances. In general, purchasing and living with this appliance has been an ongoing total nightmare.

Stay away from this product

I have been plagued with problems with this refrigerator. I purchased mine in 2009 (this refrigerator but different model #). I was told by service personnel from Sears that they reworked the ice maker and now it has a new model number. Fortunately I am under a service agreement with Sears so I have had no out of pocket costs. I've had 1 service call for not making ice; 5 separate service calls for frozen water line in 2012; and now I am currently dealing with leaking from the water dispenser and sweating from the ice maker that is leaking water inside my refrigerator. I am currently on my 3rd visit from Sear since November 2013 until now (and we are still working on the problem). The service calls if I had to pay with parts would have cost me over $2,000.00. I have two other Electrolux products in my home; the gas cook top and dishwasher that I have not had any issues with to date. I will never purchase another Electrolux product again.

This one works great

Had previous model which had 3 instances of temp and ice maker issues. Received this newer model and wow! what an improvement. Really glad we stuck with the brand. Works great, looks great and restored our faith in the brand.

Never let your warranty lapse. We are on our 4th refrigerator in about as many years. We have had terrible luck with the ice maker, freezer door, compartment drawers, etc. Thank goodness for the warranty. Well worth the cost of the extended warranty also.

Ice maker broken before 1 year

This fridge will keep your food cold. I really like the drawer in the freezer to keep things close for quick access without having to pull the freezer completely open. Some of our plastic strips have broken off, luckily it has been on the bottom of the french door so you cannot see it, but it is disturbing to find random strips of gray plastic laying on the floor when that area does not rub up against anything. It makes me wonder what it is that could have broken them off. It shows finger prints easily. Just before 1 year the ice maker went out. We tapped the Ice Off button and let it sit for a day so then turn the ice on again and it seemed to work fine for a week, then the same thing happened and we cannot get it to work again.
