Handy Weather Radio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a gift for Christmas, & have used it several times to listen to the radio & also to check for storms & tornado warnings. I use it with batteries - I like the portability, & often carry it from room to room or outside - will take it to the basement if we have a tornado warning. The only problem it has is that the volume is too high even when turned down all the way. Odd. So I cover the speaker to muffle the sound when I just want it playing quietly.

Nice little model

We have had a spate of really bad weather and decided a portable radio was needed in case the power went out. This is nice and small, easy to store where it can be close to hand. Bought 2 so I can give one to my son's family. Recently they lost power early in a storm and the storm tracker app for our area would not load on the phone.
