[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chose this from a catalog as my one year gift for working at my hospital, and I’m so glad I did because my fiancé and I needed a good weather radio, and I think this is a perfect one as our first! It is small, therefore you can handle it easily if need be in tight spaces and it comes with everything you may need in an emergency situation. Built-in flash light, charging area with cords for iPhone and androids, a hand crank to charge the batteries if they die, and of course the radio part with an antenna to listen to music or important updates in your area. We are very impressed by its multipurpose use.

A great device to have during hurricane season

Preparing For That Big Day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today 3-29-2022, my Sky Rider Whether Radio arrived. I love this radio for one: it's one of my favorite colors. Two: it has many extra components. The flashlight has a rechargeable switch that you can turn on and the batteries will charge, don't need to remove the batteries. It also had an USB portal and aDc 7v adapter and the adapter comes with the radio. And if all else fails you can recharge the radio by the crank shaft and solar ban. So with all of those features your weather radio is a great investment. I would suggest this little compact radio to everyone who is preparing for that BIG DAY.

Complete garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crank is already broken on arrival with the small plastic nub that holds it in place missing entirely so the crank cannot be used at all. In spite of full, direct mid day sun, solar panel cannot detect and does not solar charge at all. Wall adapter does work, but is fairly useless in a power outage, which is what this product is supposed to be useful for. Not sure yet if regular battery operation works, but for the functionality this appears to have right out of the box, I could've got a cheap radio alarm clock with battery back up for a third of the price and the same amount of usefulness. Completely useless for what I purchased it for, and I intend to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
