Doing great job during current heat wave.

Purchased three of these units. Regretfully had to return one as third window opening was a speck too small.
Fastening the curtains to the unit with screws was a small problem otherwise installation was a breeze.

I wanted an LG product and I am very pleased with this product. I by passed several different models by other manufactures that were cheaper, but not made as well. I am very satisfied.

I purchased this unit as well as a 6000 btu unit to replace my failing central system. They were easy to install, and I had both in and running in no time. It has been just over a month and with temps reaching 105 + they have been keeping my 1200 square foot home cool and comfortable!! Plus my power bill was only $50.00 higher than with no air at all!! That was a well received supprize!!

I have an older model of this that had a noise issue with the filter cover but LG has fixed that problem with this newer updated model.
I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a window unit and has the room to fit this unit.
My old one is downstairs so the noise is no longer an issue, this new one is in my bedroom and I have no trouble getting to sleep!

I have a dedicated outlet for this, which they recommend in the instructions, but don't tell you on the specs. I had it installed professionally, so can't speak to that, but it works great, looks attractive, big bang for a small buck.
