Better than I expected

Since we haven't really had winter this year I have been running my air conditioner constantly. My electric bills surprised me by being lower than expected. Energy efficient should be highlighted on this product. It cools great and cover the distance it claims. I would recommend this product to everyone looking to save money while staying cool. I can even set the thermostat at a higher temp than my old unit and be just as comfortable .
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, economy, fairly quiet

Has great features

I really like this unit. You can use it to just take the moisture out of the air or use it to cool. Great price and value. I have had it since march of 2012. We use this in our family room in addition to our central air. So far so good. It does a great job cooling.

Do not be blinded by the "LG"

I have owned this A/C unit for 13 months now and it does not work anymore. It so happens that the warranty ran out last month which is very convenient for LG since the warrranty is for 1 year only. Please do not be fooled like I was and think that since this is an LG product that it is a great buy. It is as far from the truth as possible; worst A/C unit I have ever bought and they have lost a customer for good after this. Poorly built and should have stayed away from the start.
Pros: broken
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible Product

We bought this unit to keep our bedroom cool. 9 months later we had to get it replaced under warranty because the compressor went out. We got the replacement in June 2012. We now have the same problem with this unit, and since the warranty period has expired we have to buy a whole new unit. I thought LG made good products, but I will never again buy an a/c unit from them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Window Unit

Bought this for my new small workshop that is a 12 x 16, fully insulated. This little gem will run it down to 72 here in the Texas heat in about half an hour, then cycles on and off in the Eco mode. It's very quiet and seems to be very inexpensive to operate. My only minor concern is I wish it was more wall mount friendly but with some creative carpentry work, it's in and looks great both inside and out.

I bought this for my large Los Angeles studio apartment and it cools the entire place including the kitchen & bathroom in no time! I love the remote control & features like the timer & energy saver modes.
It is a little loud to have on when sleeping, but overall I love it!

The best air conditioner for a fantastic price!

This is a good quality air conditioner, and a fantastic price with all the features included. On humid or rainy days I enjoy using the dry setting to make the room comfortable. I love that it has an option to open outside air and I can use just the fan on cooler nights.
I loved this one so much that we have in the living room, that we bought another for the bedroom. The noise is at an acceptable level to live with. You can adjust the air to flow in several positions which is a plus, that's the only thing that you can't do with the remote.
The only suggestion I have for LG is to make on this is have a digital screen to read the modes and temp on the remote, for those who use the remote.
