At this point the safe is still quite new and I have had no particular problems with it. It arrived seemingly undamaged and everything worked at the outset. The advice in the manual indicating that you might have to push the handle slightly up when entering the combination is accurate and helpful.
The lockbox inside is pretty flimsy and I can't really see the point of the lock. If someone already managed to open the safe, it would be very easy to break open the internal box.
The LED light inside is helpful, and if a small safe is all you need, this one probably will fill the bill. I haven't bolted mine down yet so it is pretty easy to slide it across the floor but fully loaded it is heavy enough that you would have to seriously want to steal it to pick it up.

With the ratings , customer comments we purchased this unit . We had an electrical fire 2 years ago and we wanted a safe that has a high fire rating .

I ordered the safe on August 21, received it on 24 August. It is exactly as described, and the literature made programming the new codes easy. It is just the right size for standard binders. The additional small item lock box can be removed for extra room. The price is fair for the protection it guarantees; it is advertised as fireproof, waterproof and that is what I needed to protect our valuable legal documents. I gave it 4 stars because the opportunity to prove how effective this safe is, has not happened yet - knock on wood.

The digital combination was easy to program. It’s great to be able to program a second code so an additional family member can have access in emergencies.
An interior light can be programmed for 30 or 60 seconds. Plenty of time to move documents in and out.
This uses 4 AAA batteries for the digital combination and the interior light, which are accessible from the outside of the safe.
There is plenty of room for file folders, a separate key locking removable tray inside, and hooks on the inside of the door along with a pocket for passports and smaller flat items.
This is a wonderful alternative to paying for a safety deposit box at a bank, along with the fact you can have access any time!
I would definitely recommend this purchase.

I used the safe and put very important things in it but then i lost the code before i could make my own so i wasnt able to get it open because i forgot the code as well. So i submitted a lost combination request order. They emailed me my factory combination code the very next day. They were very quick and relieved the stress i felt when i locked my stuff in the safe.
