Very nice safe to replace the Sentry box I've had for many years. After reading reviews a was a bit troubled because of all the set up issues with the number keyboard safes. However, due to my eye site issues and the fact that I used a dial safe at work for 40 years (which I HATED), I decided to opt for the electric keypad anyway. I ended up having no issues at all following the directions. I believe that is the key to solve of the setup issues other have had. Follow the directions.

The safe is in almost every way what I researched in wants and needs. I was dishearten by only one aspect. They say not to put pearls inside. If you've anything that has pearls you'll have to find something else.

Just got it, was a quick as promised delivery. Directions very easy to understand, although for the life of my, don't understand the reason for the key as it will not unlock the safe. Even called your office. Woman very pleasant, gave me an explanation, but even then didn't make much sense. Would not have paid the extra for the combination digital and key. Happy that a shelf and a lockable box comes with it. Didn't realize it was included when I ordered it.

Not sure about the safe as a safe but I don’t know I had to spend a half hour cleaning it before I put anything in the safe. The inside of the safe had dirt everywhere. When something comes that dirty, it has to be a reflection of the company that produced the safe. Super nervous about the quality of the safe. I am already shopping for a different brand so I can send this one back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was shipped on time and was easy to set up. It did have a small dent in the corner and a small mar in the top. I have emailed SentrySafe and I am waiting for a resolution. I am SURE they will contact me
