Everything feels good so far with exception of the opening handle. Every time I turn it, the plastic flexes and it feels like it might break over time. If this was made of metal, I think this safe would get the full 5 stars.

Nice safe, super heavy, not sure about the purpose of the key. It was easy to add a personal code. Wondering if I should just use the factory code. Hoping that is not the same code for every safe. It's hard to give a full review until my house burns down and hoping that never happens so this will have to work.

Good Safe - I purchased because I need a fire proof safe for documents that are in a 3 ring binder. The inside dimensions stated are not correct for all areas and there is only a small area that I can use because the door takes up some of the space. Also, please update your owners manual to clarify which batteries are required, This caused a great deal of problems for me.

I found the safe to be as advertised. I had some confusion about the key which it turns out is a "secondary" lock. Meaning if you use the key to lock, you must first unlock before the entry code will work. Not a bad idea actually. The other problem I had was with the batteries. The combination worked sporadically. I was informed that I should use only the Energizer brand battery. I replaced the batteries as suggested and the safe works perfectly.
