I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this safe. I got high ratings from people, even those that have experienced a fire loss. The only thing that I am not crazy about is the plastic handle. It feels flimsy like it would break. There was a dent on the top of mine when it was delivered, but because it really doesn’t affect anything important, I didn’t return it. The $50,000 insurance for documents requires that you provide a value for each item. That is an impossible task. Items such as birth certificates, passports, etc. Have no dollar value exactly. I’m not sure how a buyer is supposed to value such things. It should also be made very clear that the unit pack is not garbage. It is needed to keep moisture out of the safe. I threw mine out and now have to purchase a replacement.

Our safe arrived with a large sticker on the front stating "Don't return before calling us for help!" so it seems like you all know that the literature that you include isn't working. How about a "Quick Start" piece specific to the safe you've sent instead of a "User Manual" that vaguely covers several different models? Honestly, this makes me wonder about the overall support and quality of your product.

Extremely happy. Very sturdy, strong, secure. Easy to program. The LED light inside is a great feature too, and the ability to turn off the light and to turn off the audible 'beeps' when you press the keypad. The interior tray included is great for smaller things like passports, extra checkbook, cash, small jewelry, etc. I wish I had bought this years ago!
