We replaced a 10-year-old identical model because the plastic code entry electronics broke and fell off the from.
This newer model still has a LOT of plastic in the code entry area, but still works much better the our first safe did.
New model also has an extra shelf, which is nice.
The actual safe box appears to be strong and secure.
I would recommend this to a friend!
