We got this safe a couple months ago. We got it all set up and working. Wanted to get back in it now and it won’t work. Junk!!!!

This safe is well built and easy to use. I like that the battery compartment is on the outside. Has a lockable tray inside for holding documents or other small items which can adjust the position or remove altogether. It is plastic and the lock is on the left side so it is not really secure because you can stick your hand in it through the right side, but it is nice for holding small things. It's waterproof, as long as you don't drill into it to mount it, which is not really necessary because it is very heavy, and fire resistant. Has a light inside as well. For the money though it is a good safe that will protect your items incase of fire or flood and has a good fire replacement warranty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not sure just got it. I like the ease of opening, changing code, weight, I took pics when I noticed the inner and outer part has some white stuff falling out of it.

Thank you for your feedback and apologize for the experience. The residue is the cement from the inner walls. Sometimes during shipping movement will shake excess residue loose from small cracks that may be in the safe.

The safe is about what I expected: it's fairly heavy, feels solid and works reasonably well (obviously I haven't had a chance to test its resistance to fire, water and unauthorized penetration). Lock works ok (although I did have a couple attempts when I was pretty sure I entered the right combination and it didn't open). I don't love the feature that if you put some pressure on the handle when the safe is locked you can force it down.
I like even less that it comes with one pre-programmed master code that can never be changed or removed. I can't help but worry that there is a hackable DB somewhere with all of the codes.
I also don't get the point of having a key that basically locks the mechanism.
