Too noisy

This refrigerator was a replacement offered by the company for my other Electrolux which had a design flaw in the water/ice system. My design flaw one was sooooo much better, except for of course it never made ice so it had to be replaced. This one has a very loud, high-pitched electrical hum that is at a frequency that makes it intolerable to be in the same room with it.
It also has two ice makers in it, one in the door and one in the freezer. Who needs that much ice most of the time? I would like to have my freezer space, which is now being hogged up by a second ice maker, back. I oiginally bought the prior model so I could have lots of freezer space. Now I have very little.
I'm incredibly disappointed with the model they replaced my first one with. I can't believe that in this day in age they can't make a refrigerator that isn't so loud that we have to turn our TV up to hear it. My original one didn't have this problem...why are things only getting worse?

I got a floor model of this fridge which made the price for both the electrolux name as well as the need for a counter depth model more within a logical range. I have been happy with most of the features, its very quiet, makes lots of ice with the two ice makers, has decent storage solutions and the display panel is sleeker with the wave touch option. There is no butter/egg compartment which I didnt realize was useful until I no longer had it. Also, the spill proof shelves limit storage capacity somewhat due to the curved shelfs.

Great Temperature Control

I was a bit apprehensive about this unit after I'd read about the ice-maker issues. So far, we haven't had any problems. The fridge is very stylish, but more importantly it functions very well. The temperatures are spot on in all corners of the fridge and freezer. I can set the specialty drawer to 33F and not worry about icing. The soft serve drawer in the freezer keeps ice cream easily scoopable with no melting. It would be nice if that drawer had an inch more height to allow more brands of ice cream.
My wife loves the soft-close drawers and curved glass shelves in the fridge.

Growing pains with new refer

I love the refrigerator. It has great looks and many helpful features. I have been disappointed in the racks in both the freezer and refrigerator. We had to get parts for the freezer replaced and the drawer rails in the refrigerator have come out and won't go back in. I have not yet called the repair people yet because of the holidays. . c

My Choice-

I had the say on the refrigerator. We did a complere kitchen remodel and I wanted what i thought was the top refrige. This unit so far was for sure the right choice! I love the looks of this unit. super clean lines. Installed it looks even better. I am new to having a automatic icemaker so...That gets use almost every day and I love it as does the family. I did remove the small shelf right off the bat next to the ice maker to accomadate 2 liter bottles and warehouse store size juices. I have always seemed to remove a shelf on any frige purchase before so that to me is normal. I set shelf locations to the way I wanted. Bar bottle beer high on the lower right. This unit has longer shelves than all other counter depth fridges I looked at. The door holds 2 gallons still. The ice maker #1 is in the frige vs door so there is some trade. The trade is one i prefer. We were able put huge things on the bottom. Soft close drawers rock. Strawberries never stayed fresh so long. sorage in the drawers is more than adequate. My only drawback on the refige part of this unit is that the left door won't really stay open by itsself. I open it and lean on it a bit to open the drawers. It seems fairly level. Once i wheel it out I will check for sure. Now the freezer. New to bottom friges. It works. I wish the mini rack on the door was a bit widers. The #2 ice maker is a plus. at 51 i never want to make ice again. I was the only one who filled the darn trays. Soft serve drawer does work. some night want extra storage vs those 2 options, we did no. seems thouygh we have to rearrange stuff a lot after shopping to accomate things. No knocks on the freezer as I knbew what i was getting. Possibly a #2 ice maker 1/2 the size and 1/2 sized soft serve would work best for the year round experience. my.02 cents I made the right choice

I love the overall design of the counter depth refrigerator. The ice maker on the door is outstanding. Plenty of ice, and it comes out quickly and easily. The other feature I really do like is the perfect temperature drawer. It excellent for keeping things such as meat a little cooler. The stainless steal finish is of high quality, and easy to clean. The only negative is the soft serve drawer in the freezer. It keeps the ice cream too soft in my opinion and just takes up extra space.

Same problems

This is the second Electrolux refrigerator for the family. We had so many problems with the first one we shopped other brands. After research, talking with the salesperson and looking at other brands we agreed to give Electrolux another try. Within 1 week there was a problem with how the freezer drawers pulled out and then the first problem with the ice maker happened. We know the service man on a first name basis. Other than the ice maker and freezer issues this refrigerator is well made and looks awesome in the kitchen
