freezer icing up

Got mine counter depth french door frig about 6 months ago.
The freezer icing up constantly. The seal was change, and it's alot better, but from time to time, it would still ice up. One of the problem is that Counter-depth French door frig is simply too small. Both the frig and freezer is simply not big enough. If I had known earlier, I would have gone for the side-by-side--will be bigger, and alot cheaper as well.
The ice-maker stopped working last week...then after I clean it up, it started working again. Not sure why it stopped before.
Glad that I listened to the sales guy and bought the 10-year warranty....but my 19-year old frig that I replaced never had any service problem before....

Purchased this refrigerator a few months and we've been using it for a few weeks now.
Pros
Dual ice maker, enough ice to keep-up with a family of 6 during a hot summer.
Nice glass shelves, easy to clean
Nice interior LED lights and they are replaceable
Quiet
Angle of doors can be adjusted to prevent hitting a wall or another appliance

The water is not cold. this is not major since you have enough ice to please a polar bear, but still a minor issue.
The soft server box in the freezer takes s lot of space and won't fit ice cream format sold in our area

This is our second go around with an Electro Lux refrigerator. We had nothing but problems with the ice maker on the first one. It was finally determined it could not be fixed & because of the design, the ice maker could not be replaced. It was less than 2 years old but out of warranty. Electro Lux would only contribute 50% of the cost of a new one because it was out of warranty. We didn't think it was fair but we bought another one. 8 months after we purchased the new one, the auger in the ice maker stopped working. This was covered by the warranty but it's still frustrating to pay so much for these Electro Lux refrigerators & have nothing but problems. It looks nice but I would not recommend this refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes noise like a remote control airplane

During some cycles, the refrigerator makes a buzzing sound that is rather loud and annoying. Our previous Electrolux Refrigerator did not make this noise.

decent refrigerator

It's our first french door refrigerator with ice/water dispenser and looks like it's a pretty good refrigerator for the price. We like that it's very spacious and nice-looking.
Got only one issue since it was purchased: the water filter got stuck in the fridge and water/ice dispenser didn't work. It was quickly fixed by local company which deals with the warranty.
The one thing that can be improved: if you put too many things in the freezer it wouldn't close entirely and refrigerator would not let you know until temperature in the freezer would become too high (like in 6-8 hours). Ideally refrigerator should notify you in a couple of minutes instead of waiting for a couple of hours.
And if you like to put magnets on your fridge - it would not work for you. Magnets just don't stick to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Please but does have some issues

I love love love the design of this fridge....but I will say it hasn't been perfect. We've had to have both ice makers replaced and have come to learn that you need to pull the freezer from the middle of the handle or you will get the drawers off track and then it doesn't seal properly.
We actually got our first fridge replaced with no problems and so far everything has been great!
On the positive side I love the led lights, love the easiness to change the shelves and clean them, love the drawer capabilities! So many great things that I am willing to keep giving it a try....but I will also buy the extended warranty just in case!

really LOVE this refrigerator

Let me start by saying kudos to Electrolux.. this is actually my second one of these refrigerators.. I purchased the first one in March of 2010.. really great refrigerator.. really attractive.. stunning to look at.. the first refrigerator had some sort of design flaw in the icemaker.. We had constant issues with the icemaker, however the rest of the refrigerator was fine.. In July of 2013 the icemaker in the original unit was deemed un-repairable.. Much to our extreme delight, Electrolux replaced the entire refrigerator FREE..! and not only did we receive a brand new replacement free.. but the replacement refrigerator had a second icemaker in the freezer section.. THIS IS AN AWESOME THING..! French Door refrigerators (as we understand) don't make a lot of ice due to the nature of the icemaker being in the refrigerator section.. we were so incredibly delighted with the second icemaker in the freezer.. We can't say enough positive about this refrigerator.. If you are to buy one definitely go with the optional 2nd icemaker.. yes, it does limit the space in the freezer.. however we have a second refrigerator in our basement for overflow and long term storage. Anyway.. highly recommend this refrigerator.. it's quiet, sturdy and really just stunning to look at.. my only wish for it to be absolutely perfect would be to have the water from the dispenser have some sort of control over the temp of the water.. it's room temperature.. would really like it chilled.. however, that's what ice is for.. and this unit makes a lot of it.. Thank you Electrolux for my free replacement.. that's a very elegant thing to do.. Kudos to you..!
