The watch needs to be in bluetooth range of your phone for any notifications. Don't miss (as I did) that you can only select 6 contacts for notifications. The steps feature is not accurate compared to a Fitbit worn at the same time.

DIal is great, strap is not

Received watch as a gift. Love the features, hate the strap. Ever since i started wearing the watch, ive been wrestling with the strap buckle clasp. It NEVER stays closed, Iand eventually it just fell off. now it is lost. I look on the website and SKagen wants $40 for a replacement strap. no way. See picture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice watch with limited smart functionality

I like the look of this watch and the ease of switching out bands, but the smart functionality is a bit lacking. I've found that the sleep tracking registers sleep from the moment I lay down and stop moving. The app is a bit harder to figure out but eventually I got all the perks figured out.

I've had this watch for over a year. I like the hybrid over the "smart watch" as when I had a "Smart Watch" i got to distracted at all the things on it. this is a simple watch with notifications, fitness and sleep tracking, music controls and more for you to program. I've replaced the battery once, the one reason I didn't give it 5 stars... the hands need some glow in the dark markings to see at night. love it, always recommend this watch to people
