Decent cooktop

the cooktop is attractive and performs well. However, the grates are light weight and do not seem sturdy.

Replaced electric cooktop

The GE gas cooktop replaced an older electric cooktop. The GE was selected due the size. It fit in the countertop hole left from the removal of the electric. I needed to glue a small black plastic strip behind the cooktop to cover a small gap, but it is really not noticeable. Installed appliances can be tricky, especially when the cabinet below is drawers instead of an open cabinet. The cooktop works very good and is easy to clean. I am the cook gas is so much better for me than the electric cooktop. The heavy duty grates are level and the pots and pans lay on them nicely.

Sleek looking

Had this for about two months and so far so good. It's easy to clean and very sharp looking. The only con is the knobs turn counterclockwise, which is odd, not user friendly and takes some getting used to.
