Good but NEEDS an indicator light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent cooktop. Smooth, easy to clean, easy to install, looks good, works like a charm. BUT... in my opinion all cooktops need an indicator light!!!! One simple light can save alot of grief. Come on GE, seriously add an indicator light to all cooktops, for the saftey of all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This cook top came in a new house. It's the worst thing I have ever cooked on - I would never buy this.

Lightweight grates

What I am wondering is why all four spark igniters spark when one burner is turned on. I love the way this cooktop looks but the first time I used it I burned oil on the burner head, soaked it but it still has not come off. Also It seems the burner caps are easy to stain. I was surprised that it is looking bad already . I have just had it a week and not cooking much. I just thought it would clean up easier.

Adds an updated modern look to the kitchen. Easy control for the gas. Removable grates easy to clean. Areas around burners easy to keep clean.
