OK, could be better

Cooks well, however you can't turn it down low enough to simmer things like spaghetti sauce. It boils on the lowest setting.

The beauty of it

I have had a GE before and wanted to stay with it. My other GE stove l owned over 20 years. And it was still working when I bought this new one. I just needed to update a few things in my kitchen. This is new GE is simply but classy. Durable and easy to clean. My next buy will be a Microwave/oven wall unit. I very much recommend GE.

this stove top works and looks great. Over 6 months of use, the paint on the top plate started coming off so we cannot see the knob settings anymore.

Burners burn easily

My appliance is not even two months and the burners are already burned. Very upset about this.

This is Megan at GE Appliances. I am sorry to hear you are not happy with your cooktop. It is normal for the burner grates to become dull with heat exposure.
