Good Performance, terrible appearance

We designed our kitchen renovation around the new GE Cooktop which we purchased because of the great reviews. The hole in the new Corian Countertop was cut to fit this cooktop. The gas line was run to replace a GE electric cooktop. The new gas GE Cooktop functions well, however, the edges of the cooktop do not fit properly on the new countertop. They are bowed upward and allow an obnoxious crack between the edge and the countertop which is perfectly level. . Our local retailer has replaced the original unit twice with the same result.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Cooktop and Easy Install

Just picked this unit up after a slight misplaced shipment. Wife likes the looks and took very little time to install.
