elegant but easy to get dirty

just started using the appliance. it works great and the design is elegant. but it is easy to get dirty with even water mark.

Had it one week and boils water very quickly. Larger grate area makes it easier to work over the burners.

Okay builder grade stove top. Builders package only included GE appliances.
