This is so awesome. I can't see how anyone can gripe! The sound is amazing. There was a time while watching tv and I heard the microwave going and I didn't remember cooking anything and realized it was coming from the tv and my kitchen is behind and to the right of my living room. I love watching tv now! I am not very electronic savvy at my age and it was so simple to set up.

Room-filling sound in an elegant package!!

Let me start off my saying that I'm a fan of all things Bose. Every piece of audio equipment I own is Bose, and I find it hard to stray to anything else. This product is absolutely no exception.
I'm coming from a Cinemate 1SR - which was, and still is one of the most fantastic sound bars I have ever listened to or owned. The SoundTouch 300 exceeds the performance of the 1SR, even without the need of an added Acoustimass module. There is deep, deep bass coming out of that tiny, slim sound bar. I hope I am able to get the wireless subwoofer to get the full experience one of these days soon. I don't yet have the wireless surrounds, but this does a wonderful job of throwing sound all over the room, even without them.
Simply put, this one single piece of the puzzle will amaze you. The vocals are so crystal clear, and the music is so amazingly present, that it genuinely feels as if you're sitting in a full sized movie theater. Acoustic guitars sound so bright and open that you can hear the contact of the pick on the strings. Drums have a dynamic, resonating sound that can't be described, it has to be experienced to be believed.
Overall, this product is a HUGE win. The only down side is that it was a bit time consuming to get up and running on my WiFi, but once I got the app installed on my iPad, it was a breeze. I would highly, highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for home theater sound in a sophisticated, elegant package, without having to wire everything all over your living room. A++

I purchased the Bose 300 sound bar and Bass box, Very happy with my purchase. Best sound and quality. Very easy to set up and now have my Alex and 65" 4K smart tv hookup to it also. With my reclining couch and love seat, well all I can say it is like my own personal theater and everyone is loving it. Bose is the Boss

Excellent Craftsmenship!

I just recently purchased the Soundtouch 300 along with the Acousticmass subwoofer and wow, I’m blown away from the pure crispness of the sound quality. I live in an apartment complex and this set-up might just be too powerful but that’s why they designed a volume button. The system was easily set up and I had the system up within 15mins. I would reccommend this system to anyone looking for a higher end upgrade!

Exceptional Sound, Cumbersome Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As stated in the title, the sound is great. But it took quite awhile to set it up. It would have been, and would be great if Bose provides proper setup guides that reflect today’s use cases e.g. with Apple TV etc. Instead I searched with limited setup guide results on the Web - where endless angry customers had problems, which made me think I had made a seriously bad purchase. But I didn’t give up and once everything was connected, it’s wow. It did however take a day before the sub magically connected by itself.
I’m looking forward to when Airplay 2 is out, which will enable people with Apple TV 4K to command Siri on the phone to “play music in the Living Room.” And the music will stream directly from the Apple TV, not your phone!

best soundbar there is... with a catch:)

This is probably the best soundbar currently on the market.
The bose patented adaptIQ is another winner, which is featured on this soundbar 300.
I currently only have the soundbar so this will only be the pros and cons of the soundbar, not with the bass.

Pros:
1) slim soundbar that really packs a punch. with bose's adaptiq, the soundbar creates an amazing surround high def sound in my living room. My living room is currenly about 400 sq ft and while watching avengers: civil war, i feel like i was hearing the movie in a theater.
2) sleek looking... with tempered glass on top
3) easily connects to bluetooth/hdmi/spotify/pandora
4) it was fun and easy to setup
5) did i mention that it sounds amazing already?

Cons (maybe i am being a bit too picky):
1) for those who have older tvs without a ARC HDMI port... you are out of luck. This soundbar only comes with 1 HDMI and 1 digital audio connection. So in order for this work perfectly, you will need a TV with ARC hdmi port, or an audio receiver, or something like a roku that has a digital audio connection. IT HAS NO ANALOG 3mm port :(
2) It takes around 2 mins for it to switch from tv mode to bluetooth, and another 2 mins to swap to streaming music:( not too sure why it takes so long
3) the tempered glass on top is... definitely not thumb-proofed

I would definitely recommend this soundbar... it sounds impeccable and gives an amazing experience... only if you have the right equipment

The Usual Excellent Bose Sound!

I bought my Soundtouch 300 just over two weeks ago and set up was relatively simple to set uo mated to my Samsung. I'm using the Optical cable since I don't have an HDMI-ARC port on my TV and seems to work very well with it. I'll be adding the Bass Module but the bass is really not that bad without it. Great Speaker/Soundbar as with all my other Bose products in our house and in both our cars in the garage..!!

Great sound

I seen a few people saying it was hard to hook up, I had mine plugged up and listening to it in about 5 mins! I have had a few sound bars but this one is absoulty the best sound and it is very loud! I also have the sub woofer and the the wireless little speakers also, they was little quite at first but after they had update on them they are great! I swear it sounds better than being it the movie theater! I love this set! And the glass tops on the sound bar and woofer really makes for a classy look! The best surround I have ever had and ever heard!
