So I’ve been using the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar for a little over a two week timeframe. I must say that this is an excellent soundbar. Not only that, it gives you the potential for expanding as the budget allows. I love that it enables you to match the sound dynamics with your specific room, 4K HDMI input/output, and/or Optical. I was a little skeptical at first but the sound and bass is quite potent for a soundbar but then again, it is a Bose. I tried it in my bedroom and my living room and in both places it performed very well. It has ADAPTiQ audio room calibration from Bose which can be configured at 5 locations to ensure best performance regardless of your location within the room. Now I am not expert but while watching a movie I thought I heard a sound coming from my kitchen. Now I have not seen other soundbars do that unless you have other speakers hooked up to the system. In addition, it has wireless streaming capabilities and so far I have not had any issues with it. You have the option of playing music through Bluetooth as well as Wi-Fi if you use Pandora, Amazon Music, or SiriusXM. I’m sure you can stream other services but those were the ones that I used. The soundbar looks slick yet discreet. It is easy to set up and sounds great. After having it for just over a couple of weeks I decided that I do not need the wireless subwoofer but that is just my personal preference. I really like the option of using either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to play music. I like that there is an ARC connection. Looks awesome too. While I have no need for the universal remote included, I’m sure it is great for some people. As far as price goes, the price is decent considering you are buying a Bose product.

I bought this about 3 months ago and I could not be more pleased. The clarity is spot on and it sounds great with the sound bar alone. I can't wait to hear what it's like to add the other components. This is well worth the money and sooner than later, I will be purchasing one for each area of my home.

Setup was a bit of a pain but the sound is amazing. Slightly lacking bass, but that's why you pair it with the base module. The depth of sound is unreal. You could swear someone hid some extra speakers in the room somewhere. The only other downside is that it's pretty much mandatory to connect this to everything through your TV. Still gets 5 stars from me because the quality is outstanding. I stream Spotify using the sound touch app. mostly and have Apple TV hooked up with Netflix and hbo. Also TuneIn radio using Android connected via Bluetooth.

I bought the entire setup with the Bass Module and the Rear Speakers. Absolutely incredible. Crystal clear sound, deep bass and very versatile. Relatively easy to setup and looks great as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife always complained about not being able to hear people speak when watching a movie or TV and it being too loud when an action scene came on. The Bose sound bar eliminated these issues! Clear and crisp sound and easy setup to include all of the components including cable. Now we only have one remote to worry about. I was also very specific about wireless surround and it became very clear we were looking at a limited field of products that could support this feature. The Bose system has the capability and capacity to meet all of our wants and needs.

My wife has some hearing issues, especially around the vocal range. We have listened to dozens of sound bars searching for one that works for her. The Bose 300 fit the bill. She would not listen to it for some time because it was out of our stated price range. But finally I insisted she listen to it, we bought it 10 minutes later. It instantly won her over. The ability to use the vocal enhancement setting is perfect.
Set up was easy with vocal prompts from the system to guide you through. I do agree with one reviewer that the single HDMI input was a detracting factor, but a minor one.
All in all we highly recommend this sound bar. It is worth the premium price.

Great Sound Quality, even without the extra sub

I got this soundbar about a month ago and now my tv speakers are perpetually on mute, having been replaced by this stellar soundbar. Just talking looks alone, it exceeds my expectations. We've had other soundbars in the family before and this bose one outdoes them in all the categories. The non-bose ones I've had in the past have that felt type exterior which collects dust over time and looks dirty taking away from the visuals, while these bose ones have a sleek black glass top and perforated black plastic exterior for a high-class look and design. Obviously, though, the sound is what matters most and I can't stress enough how much you need to watch 'Interstellar' with this soundbar. It sounds amazing, this is how I imagine Hans Zimmer wants you to listen to his music. And I watched the movie in theaters! The soundbar has the home theater system feeling even without the back speakers and the additional subwoofer. Adequate sound quality really changes how a movie sounds and enhances the home movie watching experience altogether. Though I am really curious to see how much better the subwoofers would make this system sound. Needless to say, the sound is impeccable and totally worth the Bose name. Not having wires associated with the traditional home theater system is obviously a huge pro for this system. In addition, the sound quality is crisp and it really does sound like it's a surround sound system in the properly sized room. As for the other things, the remote control looks nice and simple, works like any other remote control. It does make switching between tv and Bluetooth devices for an audio source a super simple and a hassle free process. I'm not the biggest fan of the phone app, as Bluetooth works better with my Indian music app, Saavn. The app does require a bit of patience, which I lack, and thus just use Bluetooth, which is what most people are more familiar with. Overall, this is by far the best soundbar I've ever owned. Someday, I might even add the sub to the system. I've already recommended it to my friends and family and they love the sound having shown off the soundbar the first chance I get.

I had the Bose soundtouch 130 before I exchanged it to the Bose soundtouch 300... The ST 300 is a better system because you can add the rear speakers and the subwoofer is much better it's a 10inch .. If you want the 5.1 sound get all three pieces.
